33 days and counting… where does the time go.
The Ando’s had their winch installed in the past week and it looks tops! Makes me feel better that we’ll have a 12,000 pound winch on the trip. Not sure if the 9000 pounder on the TJ will be happy pulling the Patrol and the Landrover out of Palm Creek 🙂
Gary has some new suspension and tyres going in soon which will take the courier from standard to Old Tele Track ready.
We picked up a GoPro Hero 3 this week so we can record some of the interesting river crossings along the way. We’ve also purchased a digital SLR to allow us to take some high quality stills.
We also received our vacuum sealer so we can start thinking about what we are going to use it for. Most likely individually sealed steaks I’m guessing, but we’ll probably think of other things.
The only item remaining on the list is to get the pre-trip service and inspection, and to get some spare parts and new tyres for the trip. This is all happening next Thursday.
After that, all we need to do is work out where everything is going to fit, and what food we’re going to take!!
