We have 2 weeks to go and we hope everyone is getting sorted. Today’s efforts involved: Sort out electrical spares (fuses, wire, connectors etc) Sort out fishing gear (lures, hooks, sinkers, reels etc) Sort out recovery gear (shackles, straps etc) Sort out first aid kit Wash tent linen Trial setup of Awning Sides Trial pack
Second stage completed today which included: Replacing Leaking Rear Main Seals Replacing Sump Gasket Repaired Leaking Power Steering Pipe Replacing Radiator Cap One more to go with the replacement of all the shock absorbers next Thursday.

Well, we have 1 year to go. There is a lot of planning to do and a lot of excitement to look forward to. The Jeep is pretty much ready, apart from a new set of rubber, but that can wait until may next year. Next on the agenda is the sort out the schedule.
So we’ve had preliminary discussions with a few friends and family and looks like there could be enough interest to get this trip locked in. Hopefully the timing will suit everyone and everyone can get the necessary time off work/school. Cheers, K.
