The trip up to Atherton was quite uneventful. The only point to note what the constant road works along the way. They just never seemed to end.
Thankfully they started to thin out after Rocky, but never the less there were still many more between there and Atherton.
The only major issue that the Jeep had was a leaking air line to one of the shockies, but this has been sorted. We’ve done the final shop for fresh food and now have to work out how to fit it all into the fridge!
Today we’re off to Palmer River Roadhouse to watch the state of origin and for the first night we will all be together and the first night that some of us will be sleeping in the roof top tents.
Tomorrow morning will be interesting!
